Inside Sales (medical device)

Seeking a hearing solution is a big deal. For most people, it’s a big decision that involves a long period of research and contemplation which can lead to a complicated purchase process that involves multiple face to face office visits and high costs.

We are doing that by providing an innovative product through a consumer friendly process with support of a hearing health professional. THE TEAM:                                   

We are building a best-in-class inside sales team comprised of talented go-getters and poised communicators focused on creating an optimal experience that empowers clients to make the choice to regain a more vibrant quality of life. The sales team is also responsible for collaborating across all client facing departments to help ensure the success of the client’s initial experience with the Eargo devices. Not to mention that our incredibly creative marketing department generates leads so the sales team is contacting prospective clients who have already requested information about the Eargo devices. 

THE ROLE:

As a Personal Hearing Guide you will use active listening skills and a consultative sales approach to quickly build rapport, address the client’s needs and concerns, and gain commitment to move forward with the Eargo solution - all without interacting face to face. Our PHG’s provide clients with a premium experience that leaves the client feeling informed and happy. We succeed by helping people realize the benefits from hearing life to the fullest again!  This position offers a no cap commission structure on top of a base salary, so you're able to reap the rewards of your efforts.

 

YOU WILL:

  • Understand the hearing care industry and key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your work
  • Educate and close prospective clients
  • Use your persuasive negotiating skills to influence outcomes and successfully overcome prospect objections
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with prospects
  • Update the prospect interaction in SalesForce CRM
  • Consistently achieve sales quota and help to raise the bar higher
  • Develop and maintain a strong referral network of satisfied clients that refer friends and family to Eargo
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the entire sales and fitting process
  • Continue to learn and develop professional skills

THE SKILL SET:

  • Strong relationship building and counseling skills
  • Ability to manage time well and handle multiple priorities maintaining a positive attitude and composure.
  • Quickly able to embrace, learn, and apply changes and new procedures
  • Previous telesales experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in consultative sales of a complex product is a plus
  • Experience with contact center phone system and SalesForce CRM is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic Excel a must
  • Strong desire to work in an innovative and dynamic company
  • Four year college degree preferred
